Amy Warr, Instructor

Amy Warr holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education (Instrumental P-12) from Troy University. Growing up she loved music and participated church choirs and music camps from elementary through college and beyond. She began playing piano at age 9 and flute at age 11, studying both while at Troy after marching all four years with the Pride of Decatur County at Bainbridge High School (Bainbridge, GA).

Amy has performed with multiple groups including the renowned Sound of the South Marching Band, Troy Symphony Orchestra, and Troy University Concert and Symphony Bands. She also played under Dr. John M. Long himself for a few years in the Southeast Alabama Community Band and has performed at other events including weddings.

After college, Amy detoured from music to serve at Camp Victory for about ten years and might be recognized by students as one of the former “Bible Ladies” at Mulkey Elementary. She has taught private lessons at various times, most recently with  Encore! Fine Arts Studio for several years before branching out on her own.
